Building regulations are the minimum standards for building design, construction, and alterations, ensuring safety, health, welfare, and energy efficiency. These regulations cover various aspects, from structural integrity to fire safety and accessibility, and are enforced nationally.

At JD Ceilings health, safety and welfare is non-negotiable. We aim to exceed and excel in everything we do, and that doesn't exclude any complexities. As well as compliance and exceedance of the national building regulations through our projects; we also have 'registered competent persons' within our work force that can test and maintenance all construction and equipment including HVAC equipment and systems, electricals and more. 

Where ever planning permission is required, the approval must be in hand before any of our work may begin. However, we are more than happy to assist you in applying for planning permissions if needed and this can be discussed during our first visit.

if you are certain planning permission is needed and are able to do it unhanded it is beneffial to apply yourself in advance to reduce project delays.
